Having said farwell to our (yet-to-be-named) robot, the team veterans took a road trip today.
First, we visited one of our sponsors, Fab2Order. Jason Greeson, the president, is always accommodating to us and seems happy to give tours. It certainly inspired us to see what a clean, organized workspace could do for efficiency and safety.
Next, we joined friends at the Indiana Statehouse for the annual Engineering and Technology Education Day at the Rotunda. There were FRC robots, VEX robots, T-shirt launchers, PLTW projects, and other in-class projects on display for our state officials to see. FRC teams in attendance were 45, 71, 461, 829, 1501, 1529, 1720, 3180, and 3565, as well as other high schools. A fun day.
Next week we’ll resume our regular schedule of meeting Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00p. First on the agenda is cleaning & organizing our workshop and getting things together to take to the Boilermaker Regional.
