Monday was a surprisingly efficient day. We’ve got a good idea of the design of our robot. The floor loader will be inspired by JackBot, one of our VEX Gateway robots. The idea is that will feed into a small trough that goes into our turreting launcher. The floor loader will double as a way to manipulate the bridge.
We’re still discussing drivebase options – either 4WD or 6WD.
Hopefully at Tuesday’s meeting we’ll have some good drawings of well-thought designs. It’s great to have a coherent idea in our heads, but it’ll be much better to get things on paper and in prototype.
