Thursday in the Shop

Quite literally.

We took a field trip today to Waterjet Cutting of Indiana, where Mike Trapp (who has also done our CAGE Match trophies since 2010) cut and bent some of our parts while team members watched and helped.  None of the team members had seen a waterjet operate before, so it was quite a treat.  He gave us a thorough tour of his shop.  We’ve got a full day of assembly and programming ahead of us tomorrow before the big Indianapolis City VEX Tournament Saturday and Sunday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Yup.  They kicked the Pacers out of their house so we can go play robots.
