CAD Team- FRC Weight Watchers

Just like in high-end sports cars, things get more expensive when you add lightness to the base model. This year the team has worked hard to make sure we have the strongest, most complete system possible to play Aerial Assist!

Here is the latest iteration of our center truss element for Palindrome. We’ve been having fun making sure all the features of the robot work and are legal, no matter the orientation.

The parts for the arms have already been sent to the manufacturing shop to be laser cut and folded. Now we’re finishing up the remaining pieces of our center truss to be fabricated this week. Shortly we’ll have a whole bunch of brilliant red and silver parts in house to start final assembly!

Thanks for letting me take over the Blog for a day.
